Thought of allusion

Harper Lee uses the technique of allusion in her text to make historical references. What some people don’t realize is that she wrote the novel during the 1950/60s during the civil rights movement. She was born in the south where during the time there was a lot of racial trension. Harper Lee wrote this novel alluding to her current events by setting the story in the South and there is a lot of racial tension l, especially the Maycomb county where the community is split into black and white and very few people are on both sides. She probably made reference to how the conditions by including the conditions of a situation in the novel like the trial aftermath. Some people are trying to be equal but are overcome by everyone else who preferred not to, at least there are some ‘baby-steps’.
