‘There’s so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors cheer and everybody lives happily ever after’.

‘But the hero… never gets to see that happy ending. They’ll never know if the day was really saved and that everyone lived on their lives happy. They either sacrifice themselves or they just leave without saying a word, they don’t stick around for some thankful gesture because they know they are needed elsewhere, they know that somewhere else people need help that they need a hero. so they simply leave and they won’t know how it all turned out. In the end… they just gotta have faith and hope it was all worth it’.
